Norbert O’Connor Keough

Mr Keough, a Navy veteran, is from North Bondi RSL Sub-Branch where he was elected Secretary.  He is also North Bondi’s Delegate to the RSL NSW 94th Annual State Congress and Eastern Metropolitan District Council of RSL Sub Branches. Mr Keough serves on committees of numerous veterans’ organisations and is internationally recognised as an advocate for active duty servicemembers and veterans’ rights. He has drafted federal legislation, is a published writer and has a blog on rights of servicemembers and veterans which is preserved by the National Library of Australia.

Mr Porter, a retired Navy Chief (Vietnam War veteran), is President of the Northern Metropolitan District Council of RSL Sub-Branches—New South Wales Branch. He was elected as Vice Chairman of Keep 45 Alive and his home Sub-Branch is Lane Cove RSL Sub-Branch where he is the President and Delegate to the RSL NSW 94th Annual State Congress.

Angie Valentine-Flint

Ms Valentine-Flint, an Army veteran, is the Secretary of Combined Services RSL Sub-Branch. She is Combined Services’ Delegate on the District Council.  Ms Valentine-Flint is also the Chair of the Subcommittee on Finance.

Nick Wiesener

Mr Wiesener, an Army veteran, is from North Bondi RSL Sub-Branch where is it’s Alternate Delegate to the RSL NSW 94th Annual State Congress and to the EMDC.  Mr Wiesener is a member of the Subcommittees on Events and Chairs the Subcommittee on Communications.

Mr Collins is the Vice President for Coogee-Randwick RSL Sub-Branch and is the voting member on the Committee.  He is a member of the Subcommittee on Finance.

Mr Tinyow, an Army veteran, is from Kensington’s RSL Sub-Branch where he serves as Vice President. Mr Tinyow is on the Subcommittee on Events.

Mr Murphy is from Maroubra RSL Sub-Branch.  For more than 30 years he has been a Cenotaph Attendant at Martin Place in Sydney.

Aub Silcock

Mr Silcock is from Redfern RSL Sub-Branch and was elected as a Member of the Executive Committee.  He is a WWII Army veteran (paratrooper) and advises the Committee on all matters. Mr Silcock is also Redfern’s 1st Delegate on the Eastern Metropolitan District Council.  Read his story here.

Michael Brooke

Mr Brooke is from North Bondi RSL Sub-Branch where he is a member of the committee and is currently an Army Reserve Captain.  He is an Iraq war veteran and also an Alternate Delegate on the EMDC.

Amy Taylor AM

Mrs Taylor is from Combined Services RSL Sub-Branch and was elected as Member of the Executive Committee.  She is a WWII Army veteran and a past RSL State Councillor.  Mrs Taylor is the current President of AWAS (NSW) Association.  She is also a member of the Subcommittee on Events.  After WWII, Mrs Taylor was the first woman NSW traffic police officer serving in Sydney - a true pioneer. Wally Benington

Mr Benington, a retired Army Warrant Officer (Vietnam War veteran), is President of the Eastern Metropolitan District Council of RSL Sub-Branches—New South Wales Branch. He sits as an Advisor to the Committee.  Mr Benington’s home Sub-Branch is Malabar where he is a Vice President.

Dr. Rod Bain

Dr Bain, a Navy veteran who also served ashore with the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps, is a State Councillor.  He sits as an Advisor to the Committee.  Dr Bain also serves on a number of ex-service organisations and Department of Veteran Affairs Committees looking after the welfare of ADF members and ex-service personnel and their families.

Mr Butler, currently an active duty Army Lieutenant Colonel, was appointed in November 2009 by Mascot RSL Sub-Branch.  He is a member of the Subcommittee on Events.
